Amazonโ€™s Womenโ€™s Skin and Hair Care Sample Box Review

I tried another amazon sample box. If you arenโ€™t familiar with Amazon sample boxes, they are boxes of samples that you can purchase. They typically are somewhere between $7.99 to $19.99 per box. You get a credit for using in a certain product category on Amazon when you purchase. This way, if you regularly purchase from that category, the sample box kind of pays for itself.

I purchased the Womenโ€™s Skin and Hair โ€ฆ Read the rest

Animal Crossing Pocket Camp Update Error Check Store Update To Latest Version Problem

One of the games I love to play on my iPad is Animal Crossing Pocket Camp. Iโ€™ve gotten an update to latest version error on pocket camp many times in the few months that I have played the game. I get stuck in a loop between being told to check store, and then once in the store, it tells me the app recently updated and it does not show any update as available. I just loop between the two, seemingly โ€ฆ Read the rest

I Donโ€™t Understand Catelynn & Tyler Baltierra Haters Becauseโ€ฆ

Iโ€™m roughly the same age as the girls on Teen Mom OG. Iโ€™ve watched the show since about season two, I think? At 26, Iโ€™m mildly embarrassed to still be watching the show, especially because almost all other MTV shows feel so childish to me nowโ€ฆbut oh well.

Iโ€™ve noticed the last season or so that Catelynn and Tyler are getting a lot more โ€˜hateโ€™ from people online. For a long time they were viewed as one of the more โ€ฆ Read the rest

Why I Watch Sister Wives

There is an affiliate link in this post.

I watch a handful of reality TV shows. All reality TV shows seem to have a certain amount of hate-followers. It feels t me that the disgust for Sister Wives is more common than the other shows I watch. The most common complaint I see is that the husband is โ€˜creepyโ€™. Iโ€™ve never found him creepy. Heโ€™s certainly quirky, and Iโ€™ve definitely cringed a time or two. The worst by far was โ€ฆ Read the rest

My Grandpa Passed Away [Life Update]

Papa and I

My goal with this blog is to be more personal than Iโ€™m used to. I still have to remind myself that part of the goal here is to share my personal life.

Itโ€™s been a few months back now, but my grandfather passed away. We found out on Christmas morning, though we later found out it had happened the night before. He was 90. My grandmother passed away in the spring of 2000, so he had been alone for almost โ€ฆ Read the rest

Saving On Amazon โ€“ My #1 Tip

I sometimes get compensated for working with brands through Amazon gift cards. As a result, I do a lot of shopping on Amazon. Iโ€™ve been an Amazon Prime member since around 2011 I believe. The convenience of having items delivered to my home in 2-3 days from the time of order is just so convenient.

I like feeling like Iโ€™m saving money though, and it can be tough to save money on Amazon as they rarely offer coupons. When they โ€ฆ Read the rest

YouTube Videos That Help You Understand Others

Iโ€™ve always been drawn to memoirs. I find myself better able to understand others when I can try to see things from their point of view. Reading a general text book about history has never been as impactful as reading an individual account of someone who survived that period of history. I guess itโ€™s just how my mind works.

If youโ€™re like me and enjoy learning about other people and their struggles and successes through first-hand accounts, YouTube can be โ€ฆ Read the rest

Adoption Sayings: โ€œSheโ€™s So Lucky To Have You!โ€

I wasnโ€™t adopted. I love my parents, but I didnโ€™t consciously feel lucky for the family that I had. I didnโ€™t feel particularly thankful that they loved me and took care of me. I just thought it was normal. I think that is how most kids are, until they reach some point in adulthood. So when I hear things these said in front of children who were adopted, it makes me sad.
